What kind of food and beverage options are included?

Flat or sparkling water is provided.

ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED IN PUBLIC LOCATIONS.

Food is NOT included in our services, but we are more than happy to recommend local restaurants and eateries in your area.

Alternative food options are available, with a $10 delivery fee. (Please see a list of our preferred food vendors on the booking form here)

If you’d like to bring your own food, please let us know. We will provide serving utensils and additional tableware as needed.

Which locations can I choose from?

We currently service the Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, and Laguna Beach area. Alternative locations can be requested, travel fees may apply.

What is the maximum amount of people I can book for?

Currently, our maximum guest count is 20 for low profile picnic tables and 100 for standard table height seating. Our picnic rates are stated for two people, unless noted otherwise.

If you’d like to add on additional guests, the fee will be $50 per person. This includes additional place settings, floral arrangements, and a couple extra set of hands to assist with the set up/break down.

I have children. Is it okay if I bring them along?

For guests under three years of age, there is no charge since they do not require a place setting. You are always welcome to bring them! If you do require additional place settings, you will be charged $50 per person.

Can I bring my dog?

Of course! We are puppy obsessed and would love to have you and your four legged friend. Please let us know at the time of booking so we may have a fresh water bowl ready at the picnic site.

What should I wear?

Neutral attire is recommended, they photograph best.
Please avoid wearing dark colors if possible.

I put in the request and haven’t gotten a response. What should I do?

Please allow up to 48 hours for a response. All messages are replied to within 2 business days. Since it will be our first time emailing you, please check your spam folder or search hello@thepicnicstyle.com

Do I need to put down a deposit?

Yes, a deposit is required to secure your date & time slot. Payment is required in full 1-2 weeks before your event date.

What forms of payment methods do you accept?

Once you have confirmed the details of your picnic reservation, an invoice will be sent to you over the Intuit network. A deposit is required to hold your date & time slot. You may pay directly through the link provided via ACH bank transfer, Apple Pay, all major credit cards, or through Zelle. If you Zelle your deposit, I will apply the payment and send you an updated invoice.

Can I extend my picnic?

Yes, of course! Additional 30 minutes will be $30. Additional 60 minutes will be $60.

Is a permit required?

Various locations do require a permit, based on the size of the event. In any case, permits typically range from $50 – $250, but in most cases permits apply to larger parties and weddings. If a permit is necessary for the location requested, we will notify you when booking your picnic reservation.

What does the day of my picnic look like?

You have already selected your date, time, and location so all you need to do is show up! I’ll be on site before your start time to set up everything you will need and will hand it off to you when you arrive. If you need to leave before your allotted time, you must contact me 30 minutes prior. You are responsible for all of the picnic items until I have arrived. If you leave early without communicating and something happens to the picnic set up, you will be charged in full for all items.

What if it rains on my scheduled picnic date?

We can move the picnic to an indoor location, such as a favorite room in your home or covered patio. There are no refunds on picnic experiences, however, I’m happy to reschedule your picnic for a later date, should you not want to move to an indoor location. There is also an enclosed bubble tent option you may purchase, as an add on that will protect you from light rain and cooler temperatures.
